Dr. Jennifer Palmer is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of clinical and surgical experience. She specializes in the prevention, detection, and treatment of skin cancer, as well as other disorders of the skin, hair, and nails. Her formal education and training include:
- University of Iowa (Iowa City, IA) – BA, General Science
- University of Iowa College of Medicine (Iowa City, IA) – Doctor of Medicine
- Mercy Hospital and Medical Center (San Diego, CA) – Transitional Medicine Internship
- University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (Iowa City, IA) – Dermatology Residency
Dr. Palmer is a diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), an active member of the Iowa Dermatologic Society (IDS), and the state dermatology representative for the Committee on Medical Services for the Iowa Medical Society (IMS). She’s also been an active member of the P.E.O. Sisterhood (Philanthropic Educational Organization) for over 30 years.
In her spare time, Dr. Palmer enjoys playing pickleball and card games with her family, walking her dog, and spending time with her extended family and friends.
